The following side effects have been associated
with the use of Didrex diet pills
Cardiovascular:
Palpitation, tachycardia, elevation of blood pressure. There have been isolated reports of cardiomyopathy associated with chronic amphetamine use.
CNS:
Over stimulation, restlessness, dizziness, insomnia, tremor, sweating, headache; rarely, psychotic episodes at recommended doses; depression following withdrawal of the drug.
Gastrointestinal:
Dryness of the mouth, unpleasant taste, nausea, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances.
Some form of Didrex side effects can be harmful for your health,
therefore notify your doctor if you experience chest pain, nervousness,
pounding heart, difficulty in urinating, mood changes, breathing
difficulties and swelling. If this medication makes you dizzy or
lightheaded then avoid driving or engaging in activities requiring
alertness.
Avoid exceeding the recommended dose of Didrex or taking this medicine for longer than prescribed without consulting with your doctor. Exceeding the recommended dose or taking this medicine for longer than prescribed period may cause serious side effects.
Consumption of alcohol may increase unwanted side effects of dizziness; therefore it is advisable to limit alcohol use while taking Didrex or any other appetite suppressants.
Before starting Didrex, inform your doctor about your complete medical history, especially if you have high blood pressure, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes or emotional problems.
Use of Didrex is not recommended while breast-feeding as it may pass into breast milk and cause unwanted effects in nursing babies.
Always remember that any form of appetite suppressants such as Didrex is not a substitute for proper diet. For maximum benefits, this must be used in conjunction with a proper diet and exercise program.
