Obesity or fatness is a real threat to our life. It hampers our health and interferes with our day to day existence. A body burdened with excessive weight starts mal-functioning even at a very young age. Obesity makes a person inactive and makes his life an uneventful and boring affair.

There are different methods of assessing the percent of fat vs. lean mass of an individual. These methods are referred to as Body Composition Analysis. The best method of fat assessment through body composition analysis is hydrostatic or hydrodensitometry. It makes you aware of your physical status.

Appetite suppressants and fad diets can be used for curtailing weight within a short span. But to maintain a proper weight and a healthy body requires a little amount of hardship. A combination of a healthy diet and lifestyle with a proper mix of exercise can take you a long way in this regard. It can keep your body healthy for years to come.
